QR access control: Platform with a custom door controller

A multi-tenant QR access system for an industrial client, plus my team's first hardware: an ESP32-S3 door controller with Wi-Fi, Ethernet and LTE on a custom PCB.

Scope

  • QR generation and validation engine, admin, super-admin and observer panels, Telegram bot, notifications, subscription billing, an events module with invite links, and Russian, English and Kyrgyz
  • A door controller built on the ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 with entry and exit QR scanners, a relay-driven lock, buzzer and status LEDs, connecting over Wi-Fi, Ethernet or LTE, prototyped on dev boards and moving to a custom PCB
